Job Description
The Maintenance and Reliability Manager plays a vital role in contributing to the overall success and improved operations within Continental Cement. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, analyzing trends and monitoring equipment conditions to ascertain the appropriate maintenance interventions.
Requirements
- Monitor equipment conditions through preventative maintenance and non-systematic inspections
- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of all major turnarounds of all equipment throughout the year
- Record and analyze data, initiating appropriate work orders when warranted
- Perform regular equipment inspections using Advanced Detection Techniques
- Maintains the mechanical backlog ensuring work orders are up to date and kept live as required
- Initiates, authorizes, and schedules routine contract work
- Provide technical expertise in specific areas of the cement plant
- Utilize 'Maximo' to manage activities and generate maintenance KPI's
- Remain current in concerns to advances in reliability technology and equipment
