Job Description
Perform diverse duties to install and maintain production and overall facility equipment, complete emergency/unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, and perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanics (rotating equipment, values, pumps, and ventilation systems)
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches and equipment manuals
- Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring and general mechanics
- Industrial electrical power and controls troubleshooting experience
- Piping (water and steam)
- Boilers – understand steam condensate system –tracing, coils, traps, and pumps
- Air compressor system- including filters regulators, dryers, and lubricators
- HVAC – air handling, blowers, dust collectors
- Lift truck- electric EE rated, battery and hydraulics
- Strong math aptitude
