Job Description
The Sunshine House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their facilities team. This role involves performing non-licensed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance and repair on preschools throughout the Lowcountry. The company is a large early education and childcare provider operating over 100 schools in 8 states.
Requirements
- Perform minor repairs and services in carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc.
- Prioritize work orders, handle urgent requests, respond to calls, and complete preventative maintenance.
- Handle non-technical repairs of the facility (hanging pictures, desk repairs, etc.)
- Perform occasional overnight travel
