Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Buyer/Planner - Components to manage their global supply chain, maintain efficient vendor relations, and support product development. The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Strong vendor negotiation skills, particularly with suppliers in Asia
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in ERP applications and Microsoft Office tools
