Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Buyer/Planner to manage the procurement and product management of critical high-value commodities. This role will ensure the supply of a key system component to support production schedules, optimize supplier allocations, and manage end-of-life stock. The position requires strong supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing skills within the tech manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field.
- 8 or a minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiations and relationship management.
- Proficiency in inventory planning, supply chain forecasting, and risk mitigation strategies.
