Job Description
Coordinates and monitors the provision of infection control throughout the hospital services, developing and implementing the infection control plan, programs, and initiatives.
Requirements
- Serves as a resource and promotes best practices and principles of infection prevention.
- Develops, implements, documents, and monitors the infection control plan, programs, and initiatives for the hospital.
- Assures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collects, analyzes, and submits data in a timely manner, as required.
- Educates all staff, leaders, and providers in relation to infection control and prevention standards.
