Job Description
Services for the UnderServed is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to assess and monitor challenging behaviors that disrupt or negatively impact the person or group supported. The BIS will provide direct behavior analysis, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), coordinate with the IDT team, and provide training to staff. This is a part-time position focused on fostering self-determination and promoting problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Coordinate with the IDT team
- Obtain HRC approval
- Provide training to staff
- Track psychiatry appointments
- Provide support to families
