Job Description
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be an integral part of a dynamic team working to advance and improve healthcare practices and outcomes. They will help implement interventions and continuously assess/evaluate to improve overall psychiatric health care delivery.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State and credentialed by the State to practice as an advanced Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in psychiatry.
- Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Registered as a NY State Medicaid provider.
- Have a DEA# and an individual NPI #.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team and/or previous experience with severely and persistently mentally ill, substance use and homeless populations.
