Job Description
The Substance Use Counselor provides substance use services and consultation to clients, integrating mental health and substance abuse treatment. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, service plan revisions, and advocacy. The role offers an on-call rotation and ensures proper charting of services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CASAC 1 or CASAC 2 certification
- 1-2 years’ experience working with dually diagnosed individuals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
