Cloud Engineer

Swiss AviationSoftware is a subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, leading the digital transformation of the aviation industry. We're seeking a Cloud Engineer to strengthen our position in the global market.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• 2+ years of experience in configuring, deploying, and running virtualized infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS preferred)
• Hands-on experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Puppet, Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab
• Experience with monitoring tools Prometheus, Grafana and ELK
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly proactive and independent, with a teamwork spirit as well
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Desirable: 3+ years in a Linux system administration role, Proficiency with programming/scripting languages (Python, Shell...), Network administration skills, Application virtualization technologies knowledge
• Any additional language, in particular German, is an asset
