Data Engineering Technical Lead

We're looking for a Data Engineering Technical Lead to architect, develop, and enhance common components on Swiss Re's strategic Palantir Foundry-based data platform. As the Lead Engineer, you'll design robust solutions and guide a team of engineers toward technical excellence.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on data engineering experience with proven ability to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines in Spark-based environments
• Proficient coding skills in Python with experience applying it to data engineering problems
• Deep technical expertise with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms
• Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration patterns
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Experience leading small technical teams or mentoring junior engineers
