We are looking for a Principal Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at Swiss Re. As a technical visionary and strategic leader, you will establish engineering excellence across multiple teams, provide architectural guidance, and drive innovation that delivers substantial impact across our business and for our customers.
Requirements
- Extensive engineering leadership experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing product engineering teams
- Deep expertise in software architecture, system design principles, and enterprise-level architectural patterns
- Proven track record designing and implementing highly secure, reliable, and resilient distributed systems at scale
- Experience establishing technical standards and engineering practices across multiple teams
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align technical decisions with business objectives
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale technical initiatives and driving organizational change
- Proficiency in English
