Job Description
Product Underwriter Casualty role in London, GB, working 80-100% on a hybrid schedule. Responsible for underwriting casualty insurance, portfolio steering, and governance, as well as training and mentoring underwriters. Requires 15+ years of underwriting experience in multiple specialities of casualty and in a global environment.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent with a strong business component
- 15+ years of underwriting experience in multiple specialities of casualty and in a global environment
- Liability insurance experience in the APAC region
- Experience with Global international business and International Programmes
- Familiarity with US Casualty topics and experience in major markets outside the APAC Region
- Solid skill set around Product Recall and Construction GL
- Strong business acumen for Primary casualty business
- Established track record of creating solutions with senior brokers and clients
- Ability to prioritize, work on multiple priorities and work independently and as a team in an ambiguous environment
- Fluency in English, other languages would be an asset
