Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious Senior Underwriter Facultative Property for the Munich Desk, covering Austria, CEE, the Netherlands, the Nordics, Germany as well as Switzerland. The role offers space to develop own ideas and find creative solutions.
Requirements
- Professional training / trainee program in the insurance industry
- 10+ years of experience in broking, insurance, or reinsurance of Commercial and Industrial Property Risks
- Excellent understanding of Single Risk Assessment and Underwriting including direct insurance know-how
- Strong technical skills including industry-specific exposure and business interruption know-how as well as fire protection, and single risk natural hazard/protection fundamentals.
- Good Data analytical skills and interests
- Broad network into the (direct) insurance world (preferably to the German market)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in German and good command of English
