Shop Supervisor

The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and scheduling shop floor employees, assigning work to all departments, and applying knowledge to train personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Leader of Shop floor operations
• Work with Shop Manager to develop schedules and assign manpower
• Read work orders and data associated to determine specifications and material to be used
• Schedule all departments of Heavy industrial equipment repair
• Operate forklifts and cranes as needed
• Schedule machine and facilities maintenance
• Customer service
• Proper use of PPE and shop enforcement
• Enforce all shop rules and policies
• Issue written warnings as warranted, up to and including termination
• Maintain a clean, safe, working environment
