Job Description
Telnyx is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Speech Synthesis) to join their team in Dublin, Amsterdam, and Krakow. This role involves building and deploying state-of-the-art multilingual text-to-speech (TTS) models, optimizing for real-time performance and scalability. The team will focus on bridging research and production, innovating in conversational AI, and transforming how people experience voice technology.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in machine learning or speech systems engineering
- Hands-on expertise with neural TTS, speech synthesis, or adjacent areas (ASR, voice cloning, multilingual modeling)
- Obsession with one or two hard problems related to TTS (LLM-based, audio encoders, diffusion)
- Experience leading small teams and defining technical direction
- Production mindset for building stable and maintainable systems
