Teradyne is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team at Nextest Memory Division within the company's Nextest Memory division in San Jose, CA. The role involves developing detailed design solutions, performing DFM with vendors, and preparing final drawings for fabrication. Requirements
- Develop specifications, requirements, and validation plans.
- Detail design of mechanical parts
- Define and perform verification testing
- Documentation of components and assemblies.
- Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively remotely
- Competency in Solidworks (or similar) and PDM tools
- Experience with sheetmetal, machine tool design, and cable harness design
- Familiarity with SEMI, IEC/EN/UL 61010 standards is a plus
- Remote collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
