Mechanical Engineering Manager (Litepoint, San Jose)

LitePoint is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a small team in designing and implementing hardware solutions for wireless test equipment. The role involves mechanical design, PCB interface, RF shields, thermal management, and collaboration with electrical engineers. This position focuses on DFM/DFX practices and maintaining PDM systems.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with E/M packaging layout and design including sheet metal, plastics, cabling, PCBA Packaging.
• Proven experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
• Proven Experience with electronic packaging and thermal design.
• Proven experience with thermal management, problem solving, utilizing heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 and GD&T standards.
