Senior Scientist

Terracon is seeking a Senior Scientist with expertise in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) procedures to provide support in the Environmental Planning and Permitting practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in NEPA project management, sector growth, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a consulting environment conducting work related to NEPA and other regulatory and permitting processes
• Experience managing environmental compliance for major projects
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Planning, Environmental or Biological Sciences, Anthropology, Engineering or Geology
• Minimum of 15 years' related experience
• Flexibility to work various schedules and availability to travel occasionally
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in various environmental settings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task within flexible/fluid schedules and project needs
