Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager

The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager will lead the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of Terraformation’s M&E framework across all projects and partners.

Requirements

• Refine and implement a coherent, portfolio-wide M&E framework with consistent indicators, definitions, and templates.
• Maintain and improve standard M&E tools (e.g., M&E Plans, ToC/logframe templates) and ensure alignment with organizational adaptive management cycles.
• Work with Product and Project teams to integrate core indicators and tracking systems (e.g., IPTT) into Terraware.
• Provide hands-on support to design and operationalize project-level M&E plans, including baselines and targets.
• Ensure project workplans, budgets, and Theories of Change align with Terraformation’s portfolio goals.
• Build partner and internal team capacity through training, coaching, and practical M&E guidance.
• Guide projects on data collection, verification, and analysis to ensure accuracy and usability for decision-making.
• Feed evidence into quarterly reviews and adaptive management processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Grants, and Communications to ensure credible M&E data supports funder reporting and impact storytelling.
