Product Engineer (100% Remote)

Join Tether, a global fintech leader, to shape the future of digital finance. The Product Engineer will own the vision and execution of local AI products, leading a pod of engineers and contributing to the product's codebase. Responsibilities include aligning stakeholders, managing a cross-functional team, and ensuring stable releases. The ideal candidate has strong software development skills, experience with React Native/Expo, and knowledge of AI building blocks. Bonus points for experience with AWS, containerization platforms, and automated testing suites.

Requirements

• Has strong software development skills (preferably in Javascript/Typescript and/or C++)
• Has extensive experience with React Native / Expo and cross platform development
• Has a good understanding of how LLMs, transformer architecture and other AI building blocks work
• Has built or has been a key technical contributor in one or more small to medium sized products (think 10k+ active users)
• Has experience managing a small, specialized, cross functional team (pod) of 3-5 people
• Has a genuine passion for building good products that improve people's lives
• Knows how to use AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to write good code and iterate quickly
