Job Description
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is seeking an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering to begin Fall 2026. The university is a Hispanic Serving Institution with over 8,000 students located in Laredo, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of the inaugural faculty to launch the new Civil Engineering program focusing on Water Resources and Wastewater Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Green Building Engineering with emphasis on LEED and sustainable design.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in Water Resources and Wastewater Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Green Building Engineering with LEED/sustainable design
- Ability to contribute to laboratory establishment and development, manage hands-on experimental programs, and engage with faculty, students, and external stakeholders
