Tenure-Track or Tenured Associate Professor of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering)

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is seeking a tenure-track or tenured Associate Professor of Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will lead the launch of the new Civil Engineering program and establish state-of-the-art laboratories.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Civil or Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Research excellence, teaching effectiveness, and leadership in establishing laboratory facilities
• Experience in mentoring faculty and guiding programmatic initiatives in structural engineering and lab-based education
• Ability to lead lab development, manage hands-on experimental programs, and engage with industry and cutting-edge research initiatives
