Texas A&M University is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance, Academic Operations to lead the finance staff for the College of Dentistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial approvals, budget management, strategic advising, reporting, and analysis, as well as problem-solving and supervising the finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven years of related financial management experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in data analysis and building reports
- Familiarity with FAMIS, Workday, AggieBuy, Business Objects or MicroStrategy, Compass/Banner, and other TAMU System applications
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements
- Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Experience in higher education finance leadership
- Experience managing academic budgets, sponsored research funds, or state-funded operations
