Job Description
Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Manager of Inpatient Nursing - PICU/Float Pool. This role involves maintaining clinical competency, providing support to the assistant clinical director, and ensuring high-quality, family-centered patient care in a children's hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be part of a top-ranked institution and committed to excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN) required
- RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact required
- BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association required
- Certification in specialty-specific area or nursing leadership, with completion of certification within 1 year of assuming the role preferred
- 5+ years of pediatric critical care nursing highly preferred
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing.
