Job Description
Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women is seeking an OB Intensive Care Unit Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves assessment, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating patient care, with a focus on incorporating family-centered principles and cost-effective care. Experience with L&D, MBU and all the OB units is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or another degree with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement
- Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- One (1) year of professional nursing experience
- Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates good time and resource management skills and flexibility skills
- Ability to operate unit specific equipment
