Job Description
The Bob L. Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse student populations and potential to obtain external research funding in traditional petroleum engineering and emerging areas.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field
- Demonstrated research skills and a proven record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Knowledge in Geomechanics and Well Completion Engineering
- Ability to develop and teach courses both in petroleum engineering and in new emerging areas
