Job Description
The Medical Assistant II at Westbourne Family Med. Assists physicians with patient examinations and treatment, maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with administrative tasks. Responsibilities include documenting patient information, preparing charts, ordering supplies, and assisting with work queue management.
Requirements
- Maintains patient flow during clinic hours.
- Documents patient review of systems.
- Maintains accurate patient records in the EMR.
- Obtains pertinent medical information from patients.
- Operates EKG, cardiac monitors, and other equipment.
- Completes administrative tasks such as refilling medications and insurance authorizations.
