Job Description
This Pharmacy Technician I position involves assisting the Director of Pharmacy with preparing and distributing medications. Responsibilities include unit dose preparation, IV preparation and labeling, prescription selection and cashiering, inventory management, delivery, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. The role requires interaction with both patients and hospital staff, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Preparation and distribution of medications.
- Unit Dose- includes filling, packaging, distributing, labeling and scanning medications.
- IV room-Aseptic technique for IV preparation and labeling.
- Customer service and pharmacy record keeping.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
