The Plant Operations Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating the plant supply chain and all plant operating departments within scope. The role oversees 300+ team members and drives continuous improvement through TPM/Lean methodologies.
Requirements
- 7 + years of manufacturing experience with experience in plant leadership roles
- College 4-year degree – Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Expertise in Lean/TPM and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver results
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards including FDA, USDA, OSHA, and food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Experience leveraging data and digital tools (ERP, WMS, CMMS) to optimize plant performance, inventory accuracy, and resource utilization
