Job Description
The ideal candidate is an outstanding teacher with a deep knowledge and understanding of leading, training and managing a vocal ensemble. He/she enjoys working with students and has experience masterfully guiding them in the development of their vocal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Music or Music Education
- Masters in Music or Music Education preferred
- Demonstrated passion for and experience in teaching as well as a passion for music
- Proficient piano player preferable
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate successfully and work cheerfully
- Understanding of a variety of music genres
- Proficiency in music theory and analysis
- Professional experience and teaching experience is preferred
- Knowledge of sound equipment and accompaniment skills are helpful
