Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Family/Peer Support Legal Advocate to join our team at the Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties Inc. The advocate will provide trauma-informed support to caregivers and families engaged with the Child Advocacy Center (CAC).
Requirements
- Lived experience as a caregiver, survivor, or family member who has interacted with child victim services systems and is stable in personal recovery
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and in case of emergency weekends, on an as-needed basis
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and crisis support skills
