Job Description
The Sr. State & Local Tax Manager is responsible for managing compliance and planning for state and local taxes, including direct and indirect taxes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a focus on process improvement.
Requirements
- Eight (8) to eleven (11) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise
- A minimum of 8 years of SALT experience is required, including at least 3 years within an in-house corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred)
- Experience in a high-growth or dynamic business environment, with demonstrated ability to scale SALT operations effectively
- Proven expertise in both direct and indirect state and local taxation, including multi-state compliance and audit defense
