Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Hope Kitchen Coordinator & Cook for their Waltham, MA branch. This part-time role involves preparing and cooking meals for programs, maintaining kitchen facilities, and assisting volunteers. The position is part of a compassionate ministry dedicated to serving those in need. This is a regular part-time, benefit-funded position.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Some practical training in social work (preferred)
- 2+ years experience working with a similar program
- Food Produce Safety Certification
- Safe Serve Certification (department of health)
- Training in meal preparation and kitchen upkeep
