Job Description
The Toro Company is seeking a Sr. Analyst, External Reporting & Corporate Accounting to collaborate with business partners and finance team members to ensure external and technical reports meet US GAAP and SEC standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and preparing quarterly SEC external reporting requirements, equity accounting and reporting, and participating in acquisition-related purchase accounting and divestiture accounting. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience or minimum of 4+ years' experience in Big 4 public accounting.
Requirements
- BS / BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Analyst III (Sr.): Requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience OR minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Big 4 public accounting
- Analyst II: Requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience OR minimum of 1+ years’ experience in Big 4 public accounting
- CPA preferred
- Public accounting and external reporting experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of ERP accounting systems and applications (SAP, Workiva, or OneStream experience helpful)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive individual with leadership skills
- Keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities with demonstrated ability to execute and implement change (process improvement, data integrity, clarity of data and messaging)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven contribution toward moderately complex projects and work assignments
- Strong systems acumen and excellent analytical skills
