Job Description
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Research Associate to provide guidance and support for a research-practice partnership with a community-based organization that provides violence prevention programs in Central Texas Schools. The position will help to coordinate research activities for the project, supervise project staff, and ensure compliance and grant reporting.
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree in Sociology, Human Development and Family Science, Psychology, Demography, Statistics, or related field
- Demonstrated expertise with quantitative data and longitudinal, multilevel, and/or dyadic data analysis
- Experience using common statistical packages such as SAS, Stata, R, or SPSS
- Experience in child and adolescent development, education, and delinquency prevention research
