Job Description
This position is for a full-time Research Associate to assist with and conduct lab-based research in the Champagne Lab in SEA. Duties will include conducting benchwork laboratory procedures involving extraction and QC analyses of DNA/RNA, assisting with molecular hormonal and neurobiological analyses, lab organization, ordering supplies and maintaining lab safety protocols.
Requirements
- Master's degree plus at least 2 years of wet lab research experience in behavioral neuroscience or a related field
- Experience with tissue dissection and rodent brain anatomy
- Molecular lab experience (RNA/DNA extraction)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
