Job Description
The IncLab is seeking a Intellectual Property Specialist / Paralegal to support a software-focused company in defense and aerospace solutions. This role involves drafting, preparing, filing, and managing patents, trademarks, and copyrights, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international laws. The ideal candidate will have experience working with software and advanced technologies and possess strong research, analytical, and written communication abilities.
Requirements
- Legal degree or certification as a licensed paralegal.
- 3+ years of experience researching, drafting, and preparing patent, trademark, and copyright filings.
- 3+ years of experience managing IP portfolios, tracking deadlines, renewals, and maintaining records.
- Experience conducting due diligence, analyzing licensing opportunities, and drafting software IP licensing agreements.
- Experience advising on software-related infringement, enforcement, and defense strategies.
- Experience preparing and filing IP-related compliance, regulatory, technology disclosures.
- U.S. Security Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and willingness to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
