Job Description
The IncLab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team at the Department of Defense and U.S. Government. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering innovative software solutions for critical defense and national security missions, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging expertise in cloud infrastructure, AI, and containerization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing software systems
- Hands-on expertise in modern software development stacks (e.g., MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js, Electron.js, NestJS, Yjs, Kafka)
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, JavaScript and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, automated testing)
- Strong understanding of networking, APIs, and database systems (CouchDB, SQL and NoSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
