Early Learning Partner Educator

Think Together partners with schools to improve early childhood programs. The Early Learning Partner Educator supports families, ensures child and provider compliance with California regulations, and promotes program quality through observation, assessment, and guidance. The role involves maintaining records, attending meetings, and encouraging program participation.

Requirements

• 12 units Early Childhood education/Child Development or more required
• Associate Teacher Child Development Permit or higher preferred
• At least 1 to 2 years’ experience working with children ages 0-5 in a classroom or childcare home environment
• Experience in conducting student observations, completing developmental assessments and assessing Child Care Environment Rating Scale.
• Ability to work well with people and demonstrate a sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
• Computer skills and knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word
• Ability to pass background check.
• Current certification in Pediatric CPR/First Aid
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to travel to off-site meetings, trainings, conferences, events, and provider’s childcare site.
• Compliance with Think Together’s policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
