Job Description
Rio School District is seeking a Program Leader to support students in an in-person setting. This part-time, in-person position offers a $200 sign-on bonus. Program Leaders act as positive adult role models, coaches, and mentors, focusing on creating a safe and nurturing learning environment through appropriate behavior management and ensuring student success. Leadership, communication, patience, and adaptability are essential qualities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- District-specific qualification (48 semester/60 quarter units or pass a pre-employment test)
- Criminal background check (Live Scan)
- Pass a TB test (within the last 3 years)
- Six months experience working with a group of 10 or more students
- Advanced Math and English skills (K-8)
- Excellent communication skills
- Bi-literacy (Spanish preferred)
