Job Description
Program Leaders work within assigned groups of students with a part-time, in-person role in district and school site locations in California. The role involves a positive adult model, coach, and mentor, providing stability and nurturing a safe learning environment. The leader must have strong leadership, communication, and patience to give students the support they need to thrive.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- District-specific - 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test
- Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting
- Live Scan (criminal background check) for TB test
- Negative TB Test within the last 3 years
- Advanced Math and English skills (K-8)
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Bi-literacy (Spanish preferred)
- 6+ months experience working with students (classroom, afterschool, recreation)
