Job Description
Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking a Research Scientist Manager with a passion for building complex AI systems in a data-rich, complex academic environment. The role involves leading a team of experts, conducting state-of-the-art foundational machine learning research, and collaborating with TR Labs and academic partners.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience leading teams building advanced ML / NLP / AI systems in academia or industry
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences
- Familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks
- Experience in ML Research beyond completing a PhD
- Excellent communication skills
- Curious and innovative disposition
- Good social skills and ability to motivate, inspire and mentor team members
- Comfortable in working in fast-paced, agile environments
