Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking a Research Scientist Manager to lead a team of experts in machine learning research, particularly in building complex agent-based AI systems. The role involves strategic planning, innovation, experimentation, and collaboration with a global team.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience leading teams building advanced ML / NLP / AI systems in academia or industry
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences
- Familiarity with one or more deep learning frameworks
- Experience in ML Research beyond completing a PhD
- Excellent communication skills
- Curious and innovative disposition
- Good social skills and ability to motivate, inspire and mentor team members
- Comfortable in working in fast-paced, agile environments
