Reuters is looking for a skilled, creative and ambitious editor to oversee our coverage of Capitol Hill, U.S. politics generally and federal law enforcement.

Requirements

• Experience editing political journalism
• Ability to consistently make good decisions about what to do (and not do) in a fast-paced and highly competitive news environment
• Ability to work with reporters to get scoops and break news
• Ability to elevate copy
• Knack for finding the engaging, the offbeat, the illuminating story target that others might not see
