Electrical Systems Instructor (Navy/DoD)

THOR Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Instructor to support Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) as an instructor for the navy in Great Lakes, IL. This role involves curriculum support, administrative duties, safety, and maintenance of formalized naval training. Responsibilities include classroom preparation, equipment maintenance, reporting discrepancies, and managing material inventory. The position requires a DoD Secret security clearance.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent or relevant military ‘A’ or ‘C’ school.
• At least three (3) years technical experience in the subject matter.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Military Training Environment.
• Knowledge of learning principles and presentation methods.
• A former Senior (E5 – E9) Surface Ship Engineer (Tier I or Tier II) and possess one of the sets of qualifications.
• Current DoD Secret security clearance, or a qualified candidate with relevant experience but no current security clearance.
