Job Description
THOR Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to support the US Navy Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (MIREM) program at the Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) in San Diego, CA. The position is a prospective contract role with an estimated work start in 2025. This analyst will ensure the accuracy of measured outcomes, conduct statistical analysis, investigate the validity of models, and manage the performance of other analysts. It's a key part of a contract initiative.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, or similar field
- Six (6) years experience leading analysis teams
- Four (4) years experience in operational research, operations analysis, applied math, and statistics
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience using analytical software tools (Matlab, Statistical Analysis Software, Microsoft Excel)
- Proficient with common productivity software (Microsoft Office suite)
- Excellent communication skills
