Directeur de Production

Reporting to the Vice-President of manufacturing and engineering, the production director collaborates closely with other departments to ensure the achievement of operational and strategic objectives. He is responsible for the overall performance of production operations, both in planning, execution, quality, costs, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Define and deploy the production strategy in alignment with the company's objectives.
• Plan, organize, and supervise production activities to optimize resources and respect deadlines.
• Manage production teams, ensure talent development, and maintain a healthy, safe, and performing work environment.
• Supervise project ordering and tracking in production in accordance with deadlines, costs, and quality standards.
• Monitor performance indicators (KPI) and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, cost reduction).
• Collaborate closely with other departments and management to ensure operational fluidity and strategic objectives are met.
• Communicate priorities, manage unexpected situations, and contribute to resolving complex operational issues.
• Develop, implement, and pilot Lean projects aiming to optimize processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
• Analyze existing practices and implement better practices, procedures, and tools to increase efficiency and reliability of operations.
