The Director of Accounting/Controller serves as the chief accounting officer for the University, responsible for all accounting functions, treasury, debt management, budgeting, financial reporting, and supervision of the business office staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- CPA or Master's Degree preferred
- Knowledge of accounting standards related to not-for-profits and universities
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct, Solver, PowerCampus, Colleague, or similarly complex accounting systems
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong collegial relationships across all levels of the organization
