Senior Data Scientist (Multiple Positions)

TikTok is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will provide insights to support business decisions using advanced statistics, machine learning, and programming. You will work with large, complex data sets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems and interact cross-functionally to make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 2 years of related work experience;
• 2 years of experience in mining, preparing, cleansing, and analyzing structured data using statistical computing languages SQL, Python, and R for metrics creation and root cause analysis;
• 2 years of experience in using SQL queries and data visualization tools to gather, process, visualize, and analyze large quantities of data to detect trends and anomalies in support of business opportunity identification;
• 2 years of experience in developing graphical and visual representations of data using business intelligence tool Excel or Tableau;
• 2 years of experience in building, tuning, and validating statistical models for regression and classification problems in Python or R;
